What is the strategy of this company or organization?

How has the strategy evolved from the initial strategy (or intended strategy) to the current strategy?

What has caused this company to adopt an emergent strategy? Why?

What has (or have) been the non-realized strategy (or strategies) of this company (or organization)?

Please note: A non-realized strategy is the abandoned parts of the intended strategy. (Introduction to Strategic Management, 2014, p.20)

Step 2: Follow-up postings

You may use one (or a combination) of the following approaches, and you are not limited to these approaches:

Comment on (a) the strengths or merits, and/or (b) the weaknesses (areas of deficiency) of the current strategy of the company chosen by your fellow learners.

Critique (and/or recommend) the emergent strategy for this company.

Support your recommendations for the change of corporate strategy.

Discuss what you think about the potential pitfalls (or weaknesses) of the emergent strategy.

Week 1 Learning Activity 2

In Chapter 2 “Leading strategically” of our textbook (2014), we learn that the changing factors within the environment in which most companies and/or organizations are operating have significantly impacted business (or organization) environments in recent decades, and have contributed to how strategic management is changing in today’s organizations and/or companies.
