In chapter 13 of the McLaughlin text, Dopson identified that failure to implement and achieve carefully planned out goals in public policy analysis was a reoccurring theme in Britain’s health system.  Is this line of thinking appropriate to apply to policy analysis in the U.S. as well?  Provide at least one supporting source (besides the text) to defend your position.
