You MUST look at the brand itself: diversification, different labels within the brand, analyse adverts, models, clothing designs, go to the flagship store on Bond Street to be able to analyse store and window design (also compare this to online images of the stores/visual merchandising), take regular screen shots of the RL website to have enough evidence, sign up to their email updates. What language is used on the website, what history of the brand is given. How are fashion news websites reporting on the brand (WWD, Business of Fashion etc)?
