Book Reports:To satisfy this requirement you will need to choose a book about any of this topics.
Strahan, Randall. Leading Representatives: The Agency of Leaders in the Politics of the U.S. House. Baltimore, Md.: Johns Hopkins University Press, 2007. A study arguing that congressional leaders are powerful in their own right.
Campbell, James E. The American Campaign: U.S. Presidential Campaigns and National Vote. College Station, Tex.: Texas A&M University Press, 2008. An analysis that reveals the predictability of presidential campaign outcomes.
After reading the book, you should write a book report doing three (3) things: 1) Summarize the contents of the book;
2) Share your opinion of the book; and, 3) Explain how the book contributes to a better understanding of the topic discussed.
Remember you choose one of the books and write a book report on just one of the books not the both of them.
