The syllabus instructions for this assignment are clear, and so they are copied word for word from the syllabus:
Include a 1,000-1,250 word summary/analysis that answers the question: What do research and best practices have to say about teaching word study and fluency?
Include the following items:
1. An assessment activity for fluency.
2. A timeline to improve fluency.
3. Classroom activities for whole group instruction to improve fluency.
4. Small group activities for improving fluency.
5. Individual activities to improve fluency.
Note: To distinguish between each of the above items in your paper, please use subtitles .
Use the GCU eLibrary to research a minimum of three to five peer-reviewed articles that can be used in support of your content.
Be sure to cite everything that you use as a reference in your paper. You need to list the reference on the References page, but you also need to include in-text parenthetical citations for each of the references. Use APA format for these citations and references.
Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the GCU APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
