The worldwide economy is being propelled by the service sector – it often accounts for over 50%(usually much more) of a countries GDP.
Your final exam will require you to:
- Pick a service company – it can be national or international and it cannot be one of the retailers you discussed in your omni-channel marketing assignment.
- Create 3 strategies for the P’s you think are most important – remember in services you have an expanded marketing mix with people, place and physical surroundings. These strategies should address the opportunities and challenges that this service provider is currently facing.
- Formulate 2 tactics for implementing this strategy. Remember a strategy is what you want to do and a tactic is specifically how you want to do it.
It should look like – I would put on strategy/page:
People Plan (if that is what you choose)
Strategy: Explain the problem or opportunity and how you want to move forward
Tactic 1/2: Specifically (important) how will you implement – you tactics should be measureable
